The trip was perfectly organised and the group of co-travellers played a huge role in making this experience amazing!

My first trip led by Johnnie….. Turkmenistan was certainly unique and the tour provided the sense of adventure I was looking for and expected….. rides through the desert, a night in a yurt, incredible Gates of Hell experience, grandiose monuments, 13-hr Soviet sleeper train, a bit of alcohol and just a fascinating group. Johnnie provides the leadership, adaptability, and calmness which is required for these off-the-beaten path locations. Highly recommend!

I am beyond words for what Johnny has done for us on this trip to Turkmenistan. The country is one of the least visited countries in the world for a reason. We ran into the summit for the five Central Asian countries + (Russia and Azerbaijian) and one can only imagine the dramatic interruption that such an event can have on tourist travels. Johnny and his team handled the situation with incredible resourcefulness. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed to give us a taste of all things representative of Turkmenistan's culture, history and nature. From food to accommodation, to experience, to adventures, this tour covers all bases for every interest that world travelers look for. It is truly the journey of a lifetime.

It was a great trip and especially when plans had to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances which went very well. The only thing I would suggest is that we all stay at the same hotel.

Best trip I've ever been on! Everything was organized absolutely perfectly from start to finish, every member of the trip was someone cool and unique, and by the end it was one of the best experiences of my life with great people!
